Weaving

The weaving workshop began in 2005. The woven products have been found to be particularly popular and the range is increasing according to customer demand. The wide range covers everything from thick sisal mats to delightfully soft woven scarves, shoulder bags, cushion covers, table mats and coasters. Locally produced raw materials are used, namely sisal and cotton, which helps the local economy. All the yarns are hand-dyed in the workshop, which is a highly skilled and labour-intensive task. All the weavers are physically disabled, and take great pride in the beautiful work they produce.
